Data and accuracy

Every opportunity starts with evidence.

Where the facts come from, how they are checked, and what they do not say.

Sources

  • State licensing boardsWho holds a license and since when.
  • The federal provider registryPractices, owners, addresses, new providers.
  • Building permitsNew offices and buildouts.
  • Public payment recordsWhich companies pay which doctors.
  • Job postingsWho is hiring and for what.
  • The practice's own websiteServices, equipment, vendors, team.

How a fact is checked

Each kind of fact is sampled and read by a person against its source before it shows. A kind that misses the bar stays hidden until its rule is fixed and it passes again. The methodology page lists every kind, its latest check and what is held back.

What the dates mean

A read date is the day the fact was read. A "named since" date is the first time the practice's site named it, as far back as public archives show. A posting date is the posting's own.

Limits, stated

Website facts depend on what a practice publishes. A unit named on a site may be older than its first appearance there. A posting may be filled before you call. People are named by role as the site names them, and a site may lag a departure by weeks.

People and privacy

People appear only as their practice's own website or the federal registry presents them, with the role it gives. No personal addresses, no ages, no photos. Anyone can ask to be removed by writing to support@clinicintent.com, and removal is permanent.

What we keep, and what we never collect

  • No patient data.

Nothing about a patient is read, kept or sold.

  • Public sources only.

The federal registry, the state boards, building permits, public payment and loan records, job postings and each practice's own website. No bought contact lists.

  • People by role.

The names and roles a practice publishes on its own site, or the registry files, and no photo, age or personal address.

  • Removal on request.

Ask through the correction form on the Methodology page, or write to support@clinicintent.com with the practice's website and the name, and the line is removed.

Corrections

A wrong row is pulled on report, the rule behind it is re-checked, and the correction is recorded.
